CAV Catalogue – a comprehensive online listing for automated vehicles
The unique CAV Catalogue, has recently been updated, now offering a more comprehensive global directory of all L4 Automated Vehicles (AVs). Designed to be user-friendly and informative, the online catalogue is free to browse and aims to provide a one-stop resource for researchers and industry professionals interested in the rapidly evolving world of AVs.
Initially put together by automation technologies company Syselek, the launch of the new update has been undertaken as part of the Sim4CAMSens project.
An Accessible Gateway to Automated Vehicles
The CAV Catalogue allows anyone to explore a curated and detailed listing of over 150 AV models from developers worldwide, past and present. Users can browse and filter information about each model, including the responsible developer, country of origin, the use case/application (e.g., shuttle/PTB, passenger car/robotaxi, highway freight, last mile, yard truck, defence, mining, agriculture, pavement bot, generic platform), and essential technical specifications.

Advanced Insights for Registered Users
What sets the CAV Catalogue apart is its in-depth focus on AV perception systems; key sensing technologies that enable AVs to understand and navigate their surroundings. A user registration is required, providing access to detailed technical specifications and descriptions of each AV model’s perception system, including sensor types (e.g., LiDARs, cameras, radar) and their integration into the vehicle.
These insights are particularly valuable for developers, researchers, and companies working on improving AVs, as they provide a clearer understanding of industry trends and innovations.

Alan Walker, Business Director at Syselek, pointed out that CAV Catalogue is more than just a database,

Syselek, an active participant in industry networks such as AESIN and European CCAM Partnership, is delighted by the huge interest and high number of user registrations.
